Let's Repeal Prop 8
Providing equal rights under the law for gay and lesbian Californians is perhaps the leading civil rights issue of our age. As California's next Attorney General, my job will be to enforce the laws of our great state. I strongly believe that the discrimination written into our Constitution by Proposition 8 is a huge step backwards and would prefer to see this error fixed in 2010 rather than 2012.
Discrimination, in any form, at any time, is just plain wrong. Proposition 8 violates equality and fundamental fairness.

As Attorney General, I'll be responsible to enforce all of our laws -- but this is one law that I hope we'll overturn, and quickly. All of us need to speak out and work together to get that done.
