It is crucial to the safety and well being of all California residents, including those who serve as law enforcement officials, to focus on reducing crime. As Attorney General, I would do a proficiency assessment and overhaul to improve all essential technology upgrades that are necessary for the police force to effectively combat crime. This will include upgrading police force databases and outdated computer systems with technologically advanced systems and mapping technologies that highlight criminal hotspots for officers to target.
