CHRIS KELLY DONATES ANOTHER $2.5 MILLION TO CAMPAIGN IN SPRINT TO THE FINISH BEFORE ELECTION DAY

PALO ALTO — Today the Chris Kelly for Attorney General campaign announced that Kelly donated an additional $2.5 million to his campaign in the homestretch before Election Day to build on the incredible momentum his campaign has garnered over the past month.

Kelly issued the following statement:

"California is in desperate straits because of the failure of our existing political system. I've invested heavily in this race — using some of what California has given to me — because I believe that my mix of experience in law, technology, and public policy can help lead the state in a different direction."

"This additional donation will allow us to communicate in the final days of the campaign with voters who face a fundamental choice — will we as Democrats nominate a strong general election candidate who has worked extensively with law enforcement while building one of the most successful technology companies in history, or another failed politician mired in scandal over her unwillingness to follow the law and protect the fair trial rights guaranteed by our Constitution."

"I'm deeply honored by the tens of thousands of Californians who are rallying behind my campaign to take California, finally, in a better direction. I plan to deliver for you next week, in November, and as your Attorney General for the next four years."
